It's All About Positivity at Lexington's Cary Memorial Library

Positivity Post-Its encourage messages of inspiration.

LEXINGTON, MA – Cary Memorial Library in Lexington launched a new initiative Thursday aimed at spreading messages of hope.

Positivity Post-Its, a collaboration between the DA and middle school advisory board, now sits in the library's Teen Space. To participate is as easy as dropping off some words of encouragement, or taking one you need.

A similar project took place at Somerville High School in the wake of the presidential election. When a history teacher asked his class to "check the pulse" of one of their classmates, the teens responded by leaving handwritten inspirational messages on each student's locker.
