Lexington' Boston Skyline Chorus to Compete on Sing That Thing!

The group is set to compete on the public television competition Friday.

LEXINGTON, MA—The Lexington-based singing group Boston Skyline Chorus will be competing on WGBH's Sing That Thing! Friday.

The group is set to compete against other area singing groups Friday, April 8 at 8:30 p.m. The show celebrates the talent and tradition of local New England singing groups.

“We are proud to share the exciting performances of some of the region’s most talented singers,” said Liz Cheng, WGBH’s general manager for television and co-executive producer of Sing That Thing! in a release. “It was an honor to work with Emerson College and for the first time to collaborate with our public media partners across all the New England states.”

The show will be hosted by Boston Children’s Chorus Artistic Director Anthony Trecek-King and features three categories; high school, collegiate and adult.

The show is set to air on WGBH 2 at 8:30 p.m.
