Lexington Business Collecting Donations for Marathon Bombing Victims
The Lexington Fitness Club is accepting donations to a fund to support three employees of a co-owner's roofing business who were injured in the Boston Marathon Bombings on Monday, April 15.

A Lexington business has joined the front lines of charitable response to the Boston Marathon Bombing after a co-owner learned three employees of his other business were injured in explosions at the finish line on April 15.
Lexington Fitness Club co-owners Allan Azoff and Robert Marshall are soliciting donations to the Marc, JP, and Paul Marathon Victim Fund after three employees of Marshall’s roofing business were seriously injured in the Boston Marathon bombing.

The business owners have reached out to members, many of whom have already responded with donations to either at Stoneham Bank or by dropping them off at the club.
“We do as much charitable stuff as we can, but it’s never been this close to home,” Azoff told Patch on Wednesday. “This one really hits home; it’s right there in your face.”

The fund was set up to support the three employees of Marshall Roofing—Marc Fucarile, JP Norden and Paul Norden—and their families after the men were seriously injured while attending the marathon and “and are now fighting for their lives,” according to a communication circulated by Lexington Fitness Club.
The donation account name is Marc, JP, and Paul Marathon Victim Fund at Stoneham Bank.
