Lexington Cancels School Wednesday

LEXINGTON, MA – Lexington Public Schools will be closed Wednesday, Jan. 17 due to the timing of the morning commute and predicted snow through mid-day with possible freezing rain after the snow.

The latest forecast calls for 3 to 5 inches of snow to blanket the region and a winter weather advisory remains in effect until 6 pm. Snow is expected to taper off in the afternoon but the National Weather Service is predicting particularly hazardous conditions during the morning commute.
