Lexington Fireworks Fourth of July 2015

The annual Lexington fireworks show will happen Thur., July 2 this year.

It’s part of the Lexington Lions Club’s annual Fourth of July Carnival at Hastings Park. Here’s the carnival schedule

• Wed., July 1: 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
• Thur., July 2: 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. (fireworks after dusk)
• Fri., July 3: 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.
• Sat., July 4: 1 p.m. to 11 p.m.
• Sun., July 5: 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The good news? The weather looks like it will cooperate for the fireworks Thursday, as the forecast calls for partly cloudy skies. The bad news? July 4th may be a rainout.
