“Testing is important for learning how COVID-19 is spreading in our communities, and for alerting those who have been infected so they can protect themselves and others,” said Town Manager James Malloy. “We’re grateful for private health care companies like PhysicianOne, who has stepped up to assist the State and Federal government in processing testing, and has been working closely with our local public health officials to make this event possible.”

“Expansion of testing enables us to detect COVID-19 in people with mild illness or risk factors to isolate them to prevent further disease transmission,” said Dr. Wendy Heiger-Bernays, Chair of the Lexington Board of Health.
