UPDATED: Lexington Students Return to Class After Bomb Threat

A pre-recorded bomb threat was called in at 8:50 a.m.

LEXINGTON, MA—Lexington High School students have returned to classes after a bomb threat was called into the school.

The building was determined safe to enter at 10:40 a.m. this morning and students re-entered the school, according to a message from Superintendent Dr. Mary Czajkowski.

The school received a pre-recorded bomb threat at 8:50 a.m. this morning. The building was subsequently evacuated.

After buildings were evacuated, students notified administrators of a written threat inscribed on a bathroom wall. Authorities determined that the two threats were unrelated.

“I am grateful for the collaborative efforts of the high school administration and the police and fire departments and thankful for the cooperation of the high school students and staff,” Czajkowski wrote.”All are safe!”
