Lexington High Named Among Newsweek's Top 100 Public High Schools in 2016

Lexington High School did not make the Newsweek rankings in 2015.

LEXINGTON, MA — Just in time for the start of the school year, Newsweek released its annual list Thursday of the top public high schools in America in 2016, and Lexington High School has made the list.

Lexington High School was ranked among the nation's top 100 schools by Newsweek, ranking 80th in the country and fourth in Massachusetts. LHS was ranked just behind Boston Latin, Westford Academy and Weston High School.

According to Newsweek's research, 82.8 percent of LHS students are college ready, and 82.6 percent of its graduates are college bound. LHS was not listed in 2015's rankings.
