Lexington Principal Finalist For Medford Superintendent

A local elementary school principal is one of four educators shortlisted for the position.

LEXINGTON, MA – A Lexington elementary school principal has been shortlisted for the role of Medford superintendent. Thomas Martellone, who heads Fiske Elementary School, is one of four finalists for the position.

Longtime Medford Superintendent Roy Belson is set to retire at the end of this month. In addition to Martellone, North Andover Assistant Superintendent of Services Donna Straight, Medford High School Headmaster John Perella and Boston Instructional Superintendent Marice Edouard Vincent are up for the role.

Martellone is a resident of Medford.
