Lexington is expected to receive up to eight inches of snow overnight Thursday into Friday before stopping midday.
The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning in effect from 1 a.m. Friday morning until 3 p.m. Friday afternoon for areas throughout Massachusetts including Lexington.
