Lexington Resident Launches Avenue Brand
Kim Borman, along with Doug Chapman, have relaunched KSV|Boston as Avenue Brand, a new agency dedicated to helping clients create brand dialogue

The following was provided on behalf of Avenue Brand.
Long-time Boston advertising leaders Kim Borman and Doug Chapman, president and executive creative director, respectively, of KSV|Boston, have become sole owners of the agency, which they have relaunched as Avenue Brand.
Borman and Chapman first formed their agency as the Boston division of Kelliher Samets Volk (KSV), a Burlington, Vermont-based firm, and in five years, grew it to a 16 person shop with approximately $18 million of total annual billings.
Avenue Brand reflects Borman and Chapman's belief that clients most need agencies to help them identify the best path for their brand - now and in the future.
"Many companies worry about how to stay relevant and engaged as consumers seek to control the conversation with their favorite brands,” says Borman. “Avenue Brand excels at helping companies talk with, and not just at, their customers. And we develop marketing strategies that work across all media vehicles and creative platforms.“
"Our focus is on developing creative work that's authentic to our client's business and culture, while fueling important, constructive conversation for their brand,” adds Chapman. “We are a smart, nimble group that partners well with clients of all shapes and sizes."
Avenue Brand will continue to service existing clients including Webster Financial Group, Massachusetts Technology Collaborative, Massachusetts eHealth Institute, Globoforce and HomeServe USA. Other clients have also included Arbella Insurance, Network Health and New York Life.
Borman has held senior account management positions at top agencies including Digitas, Hill Holliday, Arnold Worldwide and Gearon Hoffman.
Chapman has held senior positions at Hill Holliday and Allen & Gerritsen, where he was a partner and creative director.
