Lexington the Top-Ranked Public High School in Massachusetts: List
Lexington High School landed at No. 1 on Niche's rankings of best 100 public high schools in Massachusetts. Here's how it was graded.

LEXINGTON, MA – Lexington High School claimed the top spot on Niche.com's 2017 list of 100 best public high schools in Massachusetts. The list of top public high schools was compiled by Niche based on criteria such as academics and student outcomes.
Niche, a website for researching schools, used a variety of factors, including SAT/ACT scores, student-teacher ratio, the quality of colleges students consider and reviews from students and parents for its ranking.
The site ranked Lexington No. 1, ahead of Cambridge, Newton North, Wellesley, Acton-Boxborough, Brookline, Newton South, Boston Latin, Weston and Wayland.

Each school received a "report card" based on Niche's individual criteria and an overall score. Here's how it graded LHS:
