Lexington Votes Yes on School Renovation Debt Exclusion

Lexington's voters voted in favor of a debt exclusion which will help fund construction and renovations at two Lexington schools.

LEXINGTON, MA—26 percent of registered Lexingtonians took to the polls Tuesday to vote on a debt exclusion which will fund construction and renovations at Jonas Clarke and William Diamond Middle School.

Lexington voted 'yes' in favor of a debt exclusion which will help to pay for the bonds issued to conduct renovations at the Clarke and Diamond Middle Schools. 3,333 residents voted in favor of the debt exclusion, while 2,134 residents were opposed.

26 percent, or 5,472 residents, turned out to vote Tuesday. Precincts 2 and 4 had the greatest turnout with 29 percent, with Precinct 3 having the lowest turnout at 19 percent.
