Lexington's Discovery Day 2017 Guide

LEXINGTON, MA – Lexington's annual Discovery Day returns this weekend, celebrating the town's businesses and community group. The street fair is held by the Lexington Retailer's Association to highlight the organizations that make the town tick.

Here's what you need to know about the event, which takes place this Saturday, May 27 from 10 a.m.- 3 p.m. at the Muzzey Street and Waltham Street municipal parking lot.

How Do I Get There?

Lexington Center parking meters and the Depot municipal lot will be free Saturday. If you don't feel like driving, there will be free Lexpress bus service from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. All routes will operate on a normal weekend schedule. Click here to find your stop.

Local groups like the Boy Scouts of Lexington, LexFarm, the Lexington Arts and Crafts Society and more will set up displays. Entertainment?

You bet. Performances throughout the day include The Dance Inn, Ben Rudnick & Friends, Mariachi Mexico Lindo, the Lexington High/Middle School Jazz Ensembles. After Discovery Day wraps up, The Nowhere Men will perform a free concert from 3:30-5:30 p.m.
