Lexington's Genesis Battlegreen Run Around The Corner
This is the 24th year of the road race.

LEXINGTON, MA — With the weather cooling down and fall upon us, it's perfect running season. Runners in Lexington have been prepping for the race that's just around the corner — the Genesis Battlegreen Run.
The race has become a tradition in Lexington and takes participants around the town, with runners making their journey for charitable organizations and non-profits. The runners have a goal to raise $100,000 and each nonprofit has a team of runners representing. This is the 24th year of the race.
Battlegreen Run Foundation has primarily supported Habitat for Humanity of Greater Boston, Ovarian Cancer Research Fund at Mass General Hospital and the Pauline Briggs Scholarship Fund.

This year, runners come from different backgrounds, including the Born to Run Foundation which funds protheses for young people, the Running for Innocence Team and Spencer's Sprinters who run for a cure and treatment for Sanfilippo Syndrome.
The race starts at 9:30 a.m. on Nov. 3 at Lexington High School. Details can be found online.
