“Anne Frank’s story remains timeless, and it was one of my favorites as a child—largely due to its incredible personal insight into a tragic part of world history,” said BCT Executive Artistic Director Burgess Clark, who is also directing the production. “Anne’s unwavering faith in humanity is why I believe the story has been so popular for over 60 years and has come to define and transcend the holocaust. With this being the 70th anniversary of her senseless death, I feel it is our duty to introduce her compelling story to each new generation.”
THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK will be performed at the Calderwood Pavilion, 527 Tremont Street, Boston, MA. Performances are April 18 and 19 at 2 pm, April 25 at 2 pm and 8 pm, April 26 at 2 pm and May 2 at 2 pm. Tickets are $27 and can be purchased by visiting www.bostonchildrenstheatre.org or by calling the BCT Box Office at 617-424-6634, x222. Grandparents Packages are also available that include 2 tickets to the show, a special souvenir and a photo with the cast. School matinee performances are also on sale through the BCT Box Office.
