Minuteman High Students Donate Refurbished Car To Veteran

LEXINGTON, MA — Minuteman High students used their skills to help a local veteran on Tuesday. Students in the Automotive Technology career major donated a refurbished car to veteran Aris Lopez.

The students made repairs for several weeks on a Volkswagen and teamed up with Second Chance Cars, an organization that provides used vehicles at low cost to military veterans or individuals who were recently incarcerated. The ceremony to reveal the donation was held at the school on Tuesday.

Aris Lopez is a veteran and father of two from Haverhill.
