
LEXINGTON, MA – North Quincy High School Principal Robert Shaw has been named principal of Lexington High School, Superintendent Mary Czajkowski announced over the weekend. Shaw has helmed North Quincy since 2012 and will assume administrative duties July 1.
Shaw began his career as a high school English teacher and served as assistant principal of North Quincy High for three years before getting handed the reins. He holds a bachelor's degree in English and history and two master's degrees in secondary education and English and history.
Shaw is licensed in English grades 9-12, as a Principal and Assistant Principal for grades 9-12 and as a Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent.

He replaces outgoing principal Laura Lasa, who is retiring after 35 years in the Lexington public school system.
