The analysis, based on extensive data and millions of reviews, highlights Lexington's strong academic reputation alongside other standout public and private schools statewide, helping parents compare options for their students' futures.
   

2. Lexington Lands High On Small City Rankings (patch.com) — Lexington just ranked No. 1 among more than 1,300 small U.S. cities in WalletHub's 2026 quality-of-life analysis, citing exceptional safety, schools, and very high household incomes. The study also notes Lexington's low crime and crash rates, putting the town ahead of other strong Massachusetts communities like Milton, Arlington, and Needham.
   

3. Real Estate Listings Week of October 2, 2026 (lexobserver.org) — Lexington homebuyers and homeowners can see several recent property sales, including addresses on Cedar Street, Winthrop Road, Marrett Road, and Bridge Street, with prices ranging from just over $1.1 million to $3.9 million.
