Severe thunderstorms and heavy rains that swept through the region late Thursday afternoon forced the Lexington Blue Sox to postpone their Intercity League game against the Testa Corp. Bombers, scheduled for an 8 p.m. start at Lexington High School.
No makeup date has been posted on the Blue Sox website.
Lexington's next scheduled game against Testa Corp. is July 6 at East Boston Stadium. The Blue Sox will be looking for their second straight win over the Bombers, having won the last meeting 10-0 at LHS last Sunday.

Lexington currently sits in second place in the ICL at 6-2. The Andre Chiefs are in first place at 8-2-1, while the Wakefield Merchants are third at 7-3.
The Blue Sox next scheduled game is tonight against the Watertown Reds. The game will begin at 8:15 p.m. at Watertown's Victory Park.
