Sports Week in Review, April 16 - April 22
Runners take to the streets of Boston, while several LHS teams continue winning streaks this week.

Runners from Lexington and all across the world began this week by participating in the 115th running of the Boston Marathon.
Pascal Marmier and Carolyn Stein were among to take part in the race from Hopkinton, up Heartbreak Hill, through Kenmore Square and finishing on Boylston Street in Boston on Patriots' Day Monday.
On Tuesday, the girls’ lacrosse team and the Chelmsford Lions for another victory. The Minutemen opened a lead of six goals on several occasions, but still had to fend off Chelmsford near the end of the game.

Also Tuesday, the LHS boys’ track and field team by defeating Middlesex League foe Reading Memorial. Both teams entered the meet without a loss.
In another matchup on Tuesday, the Lexington boys’ lacrosse team . The Minutemen fell to Xaverian Brothers of Westwood in overtime. The Hawks didn’t give the Minutemen a chance in the extra session, as they scored the game-winner on their first possession.

Like the track team, the LHS baseball team continued a winning streak this week. on Thursday afternoon to keep its record spotless. The Rockets got just two hits off LHS pitcher Will Marcal in the Middlesex League matchup.
