We’re almost there, sports fans. In just a few short days the athletic teams of will be back in action to begin the spring season.
At Patch, we have you covered for all you need to know about the Minutemen squads.
The spring previews got going with the Lexington on Wednesday. This year, the Minutemen squads are chock full of athletes eager to contribute. The girls went undefeated in league play and captured the Middlesex League championship, while the boys have 70 athletes competing for spots this spring.

On Thursday, we previewed the season for the . Both are looking to build on successful 2010 campaigns. Last year, the Minuteman boys captured the North Division 1 sectional final to advance to the state tournament. And, unlike most teams, the Minutemen are embracing their past success and hoping to build on it for this season.
On Friday, it was time to take a look at the . On both sides, the Minutemen are looking forward to getting starter after last year ended prematurely. The girls’ squad fell in the quarterfinals of the sectional tournament after an exceptional regular season, while the boys fell in the first round.
