UFO Sightings in Lexington? Here's the List

LEXINGTON, MA – Are UFOs real? That's above this writer's pay grade. But some Lexington residents think they've seen one, with reports to the National UFO Reporting Center dating back to the 1999.

Massachusetts residents reported more than 100 UFO sightings in 2016 alone. Lexington hasn't seen one since 2012.

Here's the list of Lexington sightings from the National UFO Reporting Center (some are more detailed by visiting the link above):

Oct. 5, 2012: "Last night in the shy [sic] a cigar shaped light with a trailing single light, traveling at south western horizon from left to right and turning around or down in what looked like an odd trajectory..."

May 5, 2011: "Flying along side of highway 95 in Lexington Massachusetts was a triangular shaped, and metallic in color UFO. One side seemed stretched. It had a shimmering red grey light. Had a tumbling pattern of movement but straight motions. It changed directions in a fast movement unlike a plane..."

Oct. 15, 1999: "I was about 13 years old when I saw this event. I was lying in my bed, which was next to a window on the second story of my house. The window was facing southwest and across the street was another two-story house with trees to either side. I remember waking up in the middle of the night and seeing a bright red-orange fire ball in the sky above the house across the street. It was about the size of the full moon in the sky, but appeared to be much closer..."
