LEXINGTON, MA — With the election just a few days away, much of the campaigning has already been done. If dollar signs equaled votes, Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton will have won Lexington in a landslide.
According to the Federal Election Commission, the former Secretary of State has received $470,763 from Lexington residents. She is followed by Republican nominee Donald Trump receiving $19,704; Green Party candidate and Lexington native Jill Stein receiving 1,602; and Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson receiving $0 from residents.
Clinton's lead in Lexington reflects to her lead in the historically Democratic Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The FEC indicates that Clinton has raised $18,727,470 in Massachusetts; compared to Trump's $1,350,076, Johnson's $150,199 and Stein's $39,177.
