Winchester Police continue to search for a suspect who allegedly beat his mother to death in her Winchester home.
Police released a photo of Matthew McAveeney, 46, who is wanted for armed assault with intent to murder Barbara McAveeney, his mother, assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon resulting in serious bodily injury to her, assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon on a person 60 years of age or older, assault and battery and two counts of cruelty to animals.

According to 7News, the body of Barbara McAveeney was found in her Swanton Street residence after being there for days.
Police found her during a well being check after complaints about a smell coming from the apartment.
