• Lynn Police tighten Flock camera access after audit finds 'concerning pattern' (boston25news.com) — Lynn police are tightening access to Flock license-plate cameras after an audit flagged a troubling pattern of officer searches, leading to two officers being placed on leave. New rules sharply limit who can use the system, shorten data retention, and add monthly audits and a public transparency portal, with data sharing restricted to Massachusetts law enforcement only. 
• Erik Visits an American Grave, Part 2,228 - Lawyers, Guns & Money (lawyersgunsmoneyblog.com) — A long-overlooked Black inventor who helped revolutionize shoe manufacturing built his career in Lynn, once the powerhouse of America's shoe industry. The story traces Jan Matzeliger's journey from Dutch Guiana to Lynn's factories, where his lasting machine transformed production, cut prices nationwide, and ultimately led to his burial in Pine Grove Cemetery in the city.
• Louis Tasso (reverejournal.com) — Lynn residents are mourning the passing of longtime community member Louis A. Tasso, a devoted husband, father, and grandfather from Lynn whose family still lives in town. A Revere High graduate and farrier at Suffolk Downs and Rockingham Park, he was known for his love of horses and generous spirit. His funeral will be private, and the family suggests memorial donations to the Heart Association or a favorite charity.
