MALDEN, MA — Malden's Finest just got a little bigger. Three new officers were recently sworn in to fill vacancies brought on by some retirements. City officials were on hand at the Northern Essex CC Police Academy as Patrick Kinnion, Ayrton Borges, and Cory D'Entremont were sworn in.
Kinnon, a lifelong Malden resident and graduate of Mystic Valley Charter, is a former Malden Police Cadet. He served in the US Navy aboard the U.S.S Pennsylvania. Borges, fluent in Portuguese, is a Malden High grad who served in the US Marine Corps. D'Entremont, also a Malden High grad, served in the US Army and currently is in the National Guard.
The three will now begin field training.
