Boys Under-16 Soccer Makes it to Tournament of Champions

Malden Youth Soccer’s Boys Under-16-2 team, coached by Kerstin Toh, Jose Moscote, and Johnny Ospina, won all but one game in Division 2B, outscoring their opponents 38-5. Winning the Middlesex Youth Soccer League’s Division 2 playoffs, sent the boys on to the Massachusetts Tournament of Champions. The Malden team made the MTOC BU16 D2 final four by coming out at the top of their Mass Youth Soccer bracket against teams representing Nashoba Valley, North Reading, and South Coast. Unfortunately, they lost their semi-final game, but the team looks forward to another run next Spring.
