13th Annual Blue and Gold Gallery

The Blue and Gold Gallery will have its 13th opening this year. It is a Malden High School Fine Arts Department event that features art work from all levels, but especially highlights the Senior Portfolio students. Two MHS art students have won awards from this year’s Boston Globe Scholastic Art Awards Competition. Junior Crystal Araiza won both a Gold and Silver Key for her artwork (Gold Key: Food for Thought; Silver Key: Self Portrait), and junior Annabelle Ramos was awarded two Honorable Mention. Malden High School's Fine Arts Club host and sponsor this great event.

The public is invited free of charge to The Blue and Gold Gallery opening reception (6:00 PM) and welcoming ceremony (6:30 PM) on Thursday, April 12^th, 2012 at 350 Main St. Malden, MA. Artwork will be on display and can be viewed April 12^th – May 10^th, 2012 during the hours of 8-6:00 PM Monday-Friday.
