EVENT SPOTLIGHT: Veterans Day Parade

The Malden American Legion Post No. 69 will sponsor the Annual Veterans Day Parade on Friday, November 11, 2011.  

A memorial service will be held in front of the American Legion (368 Pleasant Street) at 9:00 a.m.  The parade will step off at 10:00 a.m. and proceed on Pleasant Street to Summer Street, left on Summer Street, right on Mountain Avenue, right on Mt. Vernon Street, right on Salem Street to Malden Square, right on Pleasant Street to the Malden Government Center and reviewing stand where the parade will be dismissed. 

The fire alarm will be sounded at 11:00 a.m. to indicate the ending of World War I, the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month.
