It was a good training ground for a writer, but Hallie’s first love has always been teaching. She taught elementary school, then at the college level, then in corporations. She took her time getting around to trying her hand at writing fiction. She says her genes gave her the courage to try.
Hallie wrote her first mystery novel with a friend, neuropsychologist Donald Davidoff, and together, they penned a series of five “Dr. Peter Zak” mystery novels.
