Join First Church in Malden in celebrating the holidays and the Malden Community!
First Church in Malden is hosting a community fair and silent auction on Saturday, December 3, 2011 from 11 am to 3 pm. This event is for the entire community. The Silent Auction features fine artwork, gift certificates to local restaurants and professional services such as a private skating lesson. Several local non-profits will be present to share information about their mission, collect donations or sell items. Baked goods and a hot lunch will be available for sale. By public transportation: Take the MBTA Orange Line to Malden Center station. Or take any of the MBTA Malden Center bus routes to the station. Exit the station on the side toward City Hall. Cross Florence Street and walk up Exchange Street one short block or take a short cut through the City Hall plaza.
By car: From Route 60-Centre Street turn onto Main Street and then Pleasant Street. Or take Florence Street to Exchange Street to Abbott Street to Pleasant Street. Notice that this section of Pleasant Street is a one-way street that stops at Malden City Hall. Follow Pleasant Street to the end.
Parking: Street parking, parking garages and parking lots surround the church.
