A group of Junior Girl Scouts from Troop 71131 are
organizing a “Back to School Clean-Up Day”. Our goal is to clean up Malden for
the beginning of the school year. This event will take place on August 27th,
2011 from 9am to 1pm, with a rain date of August 28th. To help make
our city better and cleaner, we ask that you pledge to help us clean the school
playgrounds. We will be at the Beebe, Ferryway, Salemwood, Forestdale, and
Linden schools. Please consider spending
an hour or two helping us reach our goal of having the schools clean for the
children. To sign up, you can write your
name and choose a school to help clean on one of the many posters around town. You
