Learn to salsa dance with a partner at this introductory class led by Dance Caliente owners and instructors, Eileen Herman-Haase and Raul Nieves.
In a fun, friendly and creative way, Dance Caliente owners Eileen Herman-Haase and Raul Nieves__ will help you develop the essential partnering skills needed to move comfortably around the dance floor. Through their use of creative and playful techniques such as "Oonka Ah!" (an alternative to counting), students more easily find the rhythm of the music, gain comfort with leading and following, and have fun learning the steps, all at the same time!
Eileen and Raul are equally comfortable dancing and teaching both Country-style Salsa which moves from side to side (east/west) and Big City Salsa which moves forward and back (north/south). They will teach you the basics of both styles so whether you're in a Salsa club in Boston, Manhattan or San Juan, you'll be able to dance and thoroughly enjoy yourselves!
Eileen and Raul are committed to providing their students a fun, non-intimidating environment in which to learn and experience the joys of social dance. For more information on their regularly scheduled courses in Arlington and Medford please visit: www.DanceCaliente.com or call 791-396-1232.
