The next Malden Arts Salon will feature CD Collins entertaining us with her unique performance of spoken-word accompanied by jazz and blues guitarist Hodari Fenderson. A Kentucky native, CD follows the storytelling traditions of the South, both as a solo artist and when accompanied by musicians. Her work has been archived in three award-winning compact discs and her fiction has appeared in numerous literary magazines. CD has read and performed in venues ranging from Boston’s Institute of Contemporary Art to the New York Public Library. See www.cdcollins.com.
