The Painting in the Park party will take place on Earth Day – Sunday April 22 from 1-3:30 pm at Miller Park on Harvard and Sammett Streets. The event will celebrate the earth’s birthday by encouraging the community to come outside and enjoy the park. It will be led by community artist Tova Speter and all are welcome – young and old – no painting experience is necessary.
The rain date for this event will be determined at a later date. Those interested in attending can refer to www.millerparkvision.com for more information. Participants are asked to wear clothing appropriate for painting. Light refreshments will be provided as residents first create designs inspired by nature and then paint their colorful images at the park.
