Teens (grades 5-12) are invited to a special paranormal program in the Malden Public Library's Maccario Room. Greg McAdams will present Tales From Beyond, described as part X-Files, part Alfred Hitchcock, part Ripley’s believe-it-or-not.
Participants will view and handle some odd and unusual artifacts, such as a voodoo doll, ancient coins, old photographs and newspaper clippings. They will hear stories of curious disappearances, unsolved mysteries and purported hauntings. They will try their hand at mindreading and experience the sensation of ESP. And, they just might feel chilling goosebumps while hearing about famous unsolved murder cases, including the story of Lizzie Borden. Funded by the Mary & Phineas Tobe Trust.
