Fellsway East Traffic Closures Tonight

MALDEN, MA — There will be a road closure at Fellsway East Tuesday night while state workers are on site. The closure will be in effect between East Border Road in Malden to Glen Street in Melrose from 7 p.m. tonight to 5 a.m. Wednesday.

The closures are being done to "accommodate roadway striping preparation work," the Massachusetts Department of Transportation said.

Police will be on site to assist traffic, and access to homes will be provided.

The work will be taking part a bit north of where a female victim suffered serious injuries when struck in the crosswalk near Savin Street. The state has since said it is studying the intersection.
