Malden Skate Shop Murder Unsolved After 7 Years
Shawn Clark, a former Marine and owner of Patriot Skateboards, was fatally shot inside his Main Street shop on Jan. 29, 2013.

MALDEN, MA — Seven years after the owner of Patriot Skateboards was shot to death inside his shop, his killing remains unsolved. Shawn Clark, a 39-year-old U.S. Marine veteran, husband and father of two sons, was slain following a confrontation inside his store.
Two men entered Clark's shop at 804 Main St. around 12:30 p.m. on Jan. 29, 2013. A confrontation ensued, and one of the men shot Clark several times before fleeing, according to the Middlesex District Attorney's office.
The investigation remains open. A year after the killing, two cousins arrested in a drug raid were named persons of interest but never charged.

The Middlesex District Attorney annually releases store video surveillance and photos of the suspects toward the anniversary of Clark's death. Authorities ask the public to pay special attention to the suspects' facial and bodily appearances, gaits and clothing.
In July 2013, a constable and process server agency opened at 804 Main St. Snider & D'Amato Constables remains in business today.
