Malden Tabs Bill Manchester as Football Coach
Manchester, who has won a Super Bowl title with Nantucket, will replace Joe Pappagallo.
MALDEN, MA - Malden High School announced the hiring of Bill Manchester as the school's new football coach, replacing recently retired Joe Pappagallo.
“We were impressed by Bill’s positive approach toward his students as well as his organizational skills,” Malden High athletic director Dan Keefe said in a release. “Bill has big shoes to fill with the retirement of Coach Pappagallo. We are looking forward to a great football season."
Manchester has previously coached football and baseball at Nantucket High. He guided Nantucket to a Super Bowl victory in 2011.
