One arrest came at a CVS and the other came at a police station.

BOSTON, MA — A Malden woman was arrested twice in four hours Thursday for allegedly attempting to steal things.

Boston Police said Angelina Damelio, 33, was arrested at a CVS in Boston after employees said they witnessed her put items in her bag. When an employee confronted Damelio, she allegedly began hitting him with her purse, took more items, and fled. She was arrested a short time late and charged with shoplifting. This incident was early in the afternoon - she was then arraigned in Boston Municipal Court.

About three hours after the first arrest, Damelio allegedly reached through a six-inch gap of safety glass as the Boston Police District A-1 Station and grab the clerk's leather purse. Police said she caused a disturbance in the lobby when confronted. She was arrested for attempted larceny and went back to the booking area.
