Maldonian Honored, Mural Painting Continues and More

Strong Past, Proud Future: The mural at the Malden Center T station is taking shape, but days of rain have the project a bit behind schedule. If you’re 14 years or older and want to help, there are slots open on the following dates:

• Monday, June 6, 3:30-6:30 p.m.
• Wednesday, June 8, 3:30-6:30 p.m.
• Monday, June 13, 3:30-6:30 p.m.
• Wednesday, June 15 3:30-6:30 p.m.
• Friday, June 17, time to be announced
• Monday June 20, 1:30-6:30 p.m.

A man of letters: Congratulations to Maldonian James McIntyre, Senior Vice President of Boston College, who was awarded an honorary degree for his 43 years of service to the school. McIntyre is also an alumnus of Malden Catholic High School, where he served on the board.
