New Walmart in Saugus Opening This Week

The new Walmart Supercenter at 770 Broadway in Saugus is opening Wednesday, Oct. 22, according to a release from the company.

The store will have a brief ribbon-cutting ceremony at 7:15 a.m. Wednesday.

The 115,000-square-foot store includes a grocery department and pharmacy. Its hours will be 6 a.m. to midnight Monday-Saturday and 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday.

In addition to the ribbon-cutting, the store is holding a “Big Family Welcome” from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, with family activities and free food samples.
