Parking At Oak Grove Station Goes Digital

As of Wednesday, March 11, anyone paying cash for a parking space at Oak Grove Station won’t be able to leave their car along Banks Place without incurring a $6 fee.

A T-Alert disseminated on Tuesday alerted customers that come the following day, the unattended lots at Oak Grove would be available exclusively to those using the PayByPhone app. The MBTA says it’s experimenting with making payment options for Banks Place spaces digital only, meaning the situation may not be permanent.
