Everett Murder Suspects To Be Arraigned In Malden Today

MALDEN, MA - Two 17-year-olds charged with murdering an Everett man will be arraigned today at Malden District Court.

Jose Vasquez Ardon and Cristian Nunez-Flores, both of Everett, are being charged in connection to the shooting of 19-year-old Omar Wilfredo Reyes on Jan. 3 in Everett.

The Malden and Revere Police Departments assisted in the arrests; Nunez-Flores was captured in Malden and Ardon in Revere.

They have both been charged with one count of murder.

On Jan. 3 at approximately 12:20 a.m., Everett police responded to a report of an injured man under the Tileston Street Bridge behind Carter Street. The man, suffering from a gunshot wound to the head, was transported to Massachusetts General Hospital. He died the next day.
