Dedication to a public servant If you get a chance at 10 a.m. tomorrow, head over to the Mountain Avenue Bridge over the T tracks. The bridge will be dedicated in memory of the late Joseph E. Croken, who served as a clerk magistrate at the Malden Court.
Acting! Do you have a little Dakota Fanning in your house? Take her to the library at 4 p.m. for Creative Drama, where she can learn theater games and other activities.

Meet the editor: According to the billboard on the way to the airport, the world is going to end on Saturday. If true, Malden Patch would like to thank everyone in town for being so welcoming, and we’ll see you in the afterlife. Better yet, you could drop by Hugh O’Neill’s at 4 p.m., where I’ll be cleaning out my work email for the last time.
