Three Malden Residents to Perform at Kwong Kow Chinese School Fundraiser Dec. 10th

Malden residents Jennifer Wong, Kate Hui and Julie Deng will be featured performers in the “Cheerful Girls” and “Happy Tambourines” dance routines at the Kwong Kow Chinese School’s Annual Fundraising Gala on December 10th.

The event, which will honor Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick and Boston Mayor Thomas Menino, will be emceed by television news reporter Janet Wu of WCVB-TV Channel 5. The gala will feature cocktails, dinner, student performances and a silent auction to benefit the Kwong Kow Chinese School.

About Kwong Kow Chinese School:
The Kwong Kow Chinese School, is the oldest Chinese school in Boston. Located at 87 Tyler Street in Chinatown, the non-profit school provides after-school, weekend and summer programs for students including homework assistance, Chinese language, culture and history as well as Math and English.
