Two Malden Residents Named in Grand Jury Indictments

The Middlesex District Attorney's Office announced its indictments from Aug. 31 to Sept. 22.

MALDEN, MA – Middlesex County District Attorney Marian Ryan announced Monday the grand jury indictments from Aug. 31 to Sept. 22.

Included in the indictments are two Malden residents suspected in area crimes. All parties are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Michael Matthews, 26, of Malden, was charged with masked armed robbery, assault with a dangerous weapon, and assault and battery in Medford. The Assistant District Attorney is Radu Brestyan.

Eric Neal, 50, of Malden, was charged with larceny over $250, conspiracy, and being a habitual criminal in Somerville. The Assistant District Attorney is Julie Kunkel.
