We're all Irish on St. Patrick's Day
Escape to Honey Fitz Irish Pub for traditional music and food.

Your teens are holding a car wash at the high school Saturday. The grandparents volunteered to take the younger children to a movie Sunday afternoon. Your tweens take tap lessons on Wednesday evening. It’s your time. Take it.
Each week, we’ll tell you about one great idea to give you a much-deserved break, and make your life a little easier, maybe a whole lot easier.
Here in the Boston area we have a saying, most likely taken from the song with the same title: On St. Patrick’s Day, everyone is Irish.

It’s one of the most festive days on the calendar with parades, green outfits and tales of lepricorns making mischief when they’re not busy making shoes or granting three wishes to any human who agrees to set them free.
So why not escape from the home front and head over to possibly the most fitting place in Malden to commemorate the date—Honey Fitz Irish Pub located at 142 Pleasant St.

On Thursday, March 17, the pub will be featuring The Kellsmen, from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. plying all the best in traditional Irish tunes. The performance will include sing-alongs. At 10 p.m., DJ Buddah will take over, spinning new dance music for the rest of the night.
So enjoy the music along with what the pub states is the best corned beef and cabbage dinner in Malden.
While you’re listening to the Irish music, you can also sample one of the 10 beers currently on tap including Guinness and Bass; play a game of darts in any one of the pub’s three rooms, or shoot a couple games of pool.
