Window Arts Malden Begins
Malden Arts features over thirty local artists in storefronts throughout downtown.
If downtown Malden looks a little more picturesque this weekend, it's not just you - Malden Arts launched it's sixth annual exhibition Friday, featuring the works of of over 30 area artists in storefronts throughout the city.
The event, which is slated to last through October 16, will also have an official reception from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 6 at the .
In addition to individual artists, projects by students at , and other community groups were also included. The vast majority of the featured artists live in Malden, organizer Susan Burke said.

The group is also responsible for the , which enlists local artists to throughout the city.
